Before you start measuring... remember, size is just a number. Don't suck in or pull the tape measure tight. Stand in a relaxed position, let it all hang out and measure with a taught, but not tight tape measure. It's better to get the RIGHT size than worry about what the size is.
WAIST: Measure the narrowest point on your torso, around your waist.
HIPS: Measure around the widest part of your hips.
INSEAM: Measure on the highest point of the inside leg to the ankle bone.
Use these measurements with the chart below to get your estimated size.
The Stretchiest, Most Comfortable Bike Shorts
Oh no, they diiin't... the ladies over at Wild Rye sure know how to win us over with their amazing colors and patterns. Oh, the short fit and ride amazing, too! These bike shorts are sturdy, built to last (unlike the throwaway culture) and they sooooo purdy!
If you're signing up for your first enduro race, are just starting out and hit the ground often, or just love hitting the trails in style, the Freel is for you. They're made with durable, four-way stretch nylon that will protect you from the sun, overgrown shrubs you graze as you speed past, and the gravel section you just superwomaned.
The Freel can handle anything you throw at it. No need to size up in these. Even if they feel tight when you first put them on, they WILL stretch out as you ride.

We are a small business and shipping is costly to us. If you are unsure which size to buy after consulting the size charts and tempted to purchase multiple sizes, please reach out and we'll do our best to guide you into the best size for you.
A few things you should know about shipping:
Some orders are experiencing a delay in ship time due to warehouse and postal staff shortages. Please be patient!
Tracking information will be sent once your order is processed so you can stalk it online.
We want you to get your goodies as soon as possible but some products ship from outside the USA and can take up to 14 days to arrive (sometimes, not always!).
If you're ordering into Canada you may incur import duties. Or visit our NEWCanadian siteand shop in CDN currency with no import fees.
We ship some of our products direct from the brand warehouse. This means if you've ordered products from multiple brands, your order may arrive separately.
All products that ship from our warehouse are shipped via Canada Post or Purolator. Once the package crosses the border you can use the Canada Post tracking # on USPS to track your package.
If your order hasn't arrived (and it feels like it should have arrived by now), please first check your tracking info. We often don't know more than you, but we're happy to help track down a lost parcel.
All products shipped from our warehouse are shipped in reusable, compostable or 100% recyled mailers - even the address label is compostable. If you cut the mailer above where it is attached, you can reuse it. Otherwise, stick it in your compost bin or recycle bin.
We plant a tree with every order!
Shipping is a flat fee of $10 if you live in the contingent US. $29 if you live in Canada. And $25 if you live in Hawaii.

I love these shorts and if I could afford it I’d buy one in every pattern. I’m short with thick thighs, hips and a booty, and the 12s have enough stretch to comfortably fit over it... view more all. It’s rare i can buy riding clothes in the same size as my actual clothing, so I appreciate that. I can wear with or without a belt, and I love that they have a cute print. I can fit my phone in the pockets, though with my silicone case sometimes it’s hard to put it in because it grips the fabric of the shorts well. It’s not big issue, just an inconvenience when trying to grab my phone, snap a pic and get going again. view less
A: Hi Molly, the fabric is the biggest difference. The Freel is a bit more burly than the Kaweah. And fit is next. We find the Freel is true to size while some customers go up a size in the Kaweahs. Both have tons of stretch, though!
A: Hi! These shorts don't come with a chamois, but we have lots of great chamois that will work well with these shorts. You can order them true to size, as well, and very comfortably fit a chamois underneath. Hope that helps!
