Meet the killer ladies that helped make this happen:

Katrina Strand lives in Whistler, BC. She has spent the last 12 years traveling the globe as a professional mountain bike athlete – she has represented Canada at the Downhill World Championships, been in countless ad campaigns and magazine articles and played a pivotal role with the introduction of women’s specific mountain bike events. In addition, she has an established reputation as a first class mountain bike coach and has contributed to the success of many mountain bike riders and athletes. Katrina continues to demonstrate reputable competition results (2012 Crankworx Enduro 1st place) alongside a strong presence in the mountain bike media. Fanny Paquette is our French Canadian. She has been living on the west coast of Canada in Whistler, BC for 12 years. Fanny got into cycling at a young age to explore her hometown surrounding and escape the day to day life. It is not until her early 20's that she was introduced to mountain biking by some friends. Little did she know this first ride would change her life direction. She discovered a passion for the sport and left everything behind to move to the mountains to pursue her obsession for mountain biking. The sunrise gets Fanny exited for an other day on her bicycle. She love racing, but it doesn't define her. She loves to push her mind and body to it's limit. Fanny also LOVES going on epic adventures with like-minded passionate friends. She has been riding Rocky Mountain bikes for a few years and secretly in love with her Element 29er!

Bethany Parsons fell in love with downhill mountain biking when a friend took her to a bike park for her birthday. After that she quickly set out to pursue biking as a full time career. Beth worked as a bike patroller in the whistler bike park for over 5 years. Beth's sponsorships and racing career allowed her to travel all over BC and the US with many wins and podium finishes. She now spends her summers as the head coach for the Camp Of Champions; a Whistler bike camp tailored to teens who are looking to "go pro". Bethany's love for the sport is ever changing. From park laps to pumptracks to over night xc backcountry adventure biking with friends, Bethany loves everything bike! Sponsors; Scott, RaceFace, DZR, Smith.
